Ministry of Health and Welfare labs have confirmed results from 368 PCR tests at 17 p.m. this April 28
Two positive results have been achieved either:
• A dialysis patient, initially tested positive on April 9, 2021, who had returned home after two consecutive negative PCR tests and once again tested positive during routine exercise (virus reactivation).
• A close to the dialysis patient who has been the subject of the ongoing Contact Tracing (new positive case).
478 patients considered to be cured were able to return home (-1 cases).
The total number of positive local COVID-19 cases since March 5 is as follows:
• 418 cases registered following Contact Tracing and COVID-19 Testing Centres (+ 1 cases).
• 120 cases recorded in quarantine (negative patients on admission).
• 37 cases recorded following targeted screening.
• Seven COVID-19. deaths
Thus the number of active cases at the local level is 82.
