The Ministry of Health and Welfare has recorded 34 local COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, including the 26 announced during the April 6 Press Briefing. 2021.
The other 8 cases were detected on Day 7 in quarantine
117 patients considered to be cured were able to return home.
The total number of positive local COVID-19 cases since March 5 is as follows:
• 409 cases recorded following Contact Tracing and COVID-19 Swabs Testing Centres
• 88 cases recorded in quarantine (negative patients on admission)
• 35 cases recorded following targeted screening
• 2 COVID-19 deaths
Thus the number of active cases at the local level is 409.
More details and any other changes on the situation will be followed in the upcoming National Communication Committee on COVID-19 communication.
