COVID-19: Two cases recorded in the last 24 hours

The Ministry of Health and Wellness has recorded 2 local COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours.

In addition to the case announced at the Press Briefing on April 11, 1 cases were detected on day 14 in a health facility.

2 patients admitted to Souillac hospital passed away in the night.

207 patients considered to be cured were able to return home.

The total number of positive local COVID-19 cases since March 5 is as follows:

• 414 cases recorded following Contact Tracing and COVID-19 Swabs Testing Centres

• 111 cases recorded in quarantine (negative patients on admission)

• 36 cases recorded following targeted screening

• 3 COVID-19 deaths

Thus the number of active cases at the local level is 344.
