The Ministry of Health and Wellness has recorded 14 COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours.

11 cases had already been announced at the Press Briefing on March 24, 2021.

The 3 new cases were detected thanks to Contact Tracing.

2 cases are linked to the Couple of La Cave, Vacoas, and 1 at the Cluster of Curepipe.

The total number of positive COVID-19 cases registered locally since March 5 is as follows:

• 185 registered following Contact Tracing and COVID-19 Testing Centres • 35 cases registered in quarantine (patients negative on admission).
• 13 cases recorded following random samples.

Note that 20 people are considered healed.

Thus the number of active cases at the local level is 213.
